The Beginning

The American Pie Softball Club (APSC) is a men's slo-pitch softball program which was established in the spring of 2000 at Hourglass Community Park. Players were drafted from friends and co-workers throughout San Diego County. The APSC consist of individuals from a group of working adults in the San Diego area, including: San Diego Police Officers, Engineers, Students, Military personnel, Pharmaceutical employees, and backgrounds in the financial field. The basic philosophy for the club's foundation consisted of these goals: to make new friends, develop good sportsmanship, break away from stressful environments of life, build team camaraderie, meet other players, have fun and to enjoy the game of Softball!

APSC participates in regular season play in beautiful San Diego, California, and is currently playing in Murrieta, California. APSC has qualified nine out of fifteen seasons into playoff contention. The club holds four Championship Titles in Divisions "D" and "C" at Hourglass Community Park and Divison Titles in "D2" and "E" at the Poway Sportsplex.  In the Fall of 2002 APSC branched off another club, we call the "minors". New players with different degrees of talent will allow our ball club to grow. Currently, the new ball club has relocated to play at Hourglass Park, in San Diego, CA. In addition, APSC will participate in a Spring season at the Sabre Springs/ Carmel Mountain league located in San Diego, California coming this April 2009.

The APSC would like to THANK all present and past sponsors!

® The American Pie Softball Club would like to recognize CHRIS FOSTER for the design of the original APSC Logo that is now embroidered into all ball caps. It is the official logo of the American Pie Softball Club. Thanks Chris, for your commitment to the club!
